Alberta Student Aid
Alberta students access federal Canada Student Loans and Grants through Alberta Student Aid. Since June 2022, Alberta no longer offers a separate provincial student loan — all loan funding flows through the Canada Student Loans program. The Alberta Student Grant remains available as a non-repayable top-up based on financial need.
